Doctor charged with illegally recording women in restroom at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center

A doctor at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is charged with recording multiple women using an employee bathroom.

Peoria County State's Attorney Jodi Hoos says 28-year-old Henry Chang is charged with unlawful video recording after placing a camera in a women's restroom.

Hoos says a female employee found one of the cameras when it fell from a hiding place. Police say they recovered a number of videos from the camera of different women using the restroom on Wednesday, and a video of Chang setting up the camera.

Chang is being held on $10,000 bond at the Peoria County Jail. He's also required to surrender his passport and submit to GPS monitoring as additional conditions.

Hoos said more charges are expected when the case appears before a grand jury.

The women in the videos haven't been identified. Anyone who believes they may have been recorded is asked to contact the Peoria Police Department or Peoria County State's Attorney's Office.

An OSF HealthCare spokesperson said the health care provider doesn't comment on personnel matters.
