The Peoria County Coroner said the death of man who found dead following a garage fire on Wednesday is being investigated as a homicide.

One person was found dead inside a garage that caught fire Wednesday morning in Peoria. Fire crews were called to the scene in an alley in the 1200 block of NE Perry Ave. at 8:16 a.m.
