Trump Gets Tuba Protest in Bolingbrook

Tony Arnold

Donald Trump paid a visit to Chicago’s southwest suburbs today to raise some money for his presidential campaign.  Trump’s fundraiser was at the Bolingbrook Golf Club.  His motorcade entered through the back.  By doing that - he avoided the designated Peaceful Demonstration Zone, a fenced off area across the street from the golf course.

Guests who entered the event, including Bolingbrook’s mayor, were booed.

Ryan Miller joined a group calling themselves Sousaphones Against Hate and played Michael Jackson’s “Beat It.”

"I think it’s really disappointing that the mayor would do this, and bring this fella to this town."

Trump opponents outnumbered the Trump supporters. The two camps confronted each other over immigration policy.  They remained peaceful.
