Cubs Fan-Pride showing up in many ways

SPRING GROVE, Ill. (AP) - A couple of guys are letting their land do the talking about how much they love the Chicago Cubs. In Spring Grove, 82-year-old Jack Schmitt has carved a giant message of "Go Cubs Go" into the middle of his soybean field with a tractor and disc. Naperville resident Robert "Rudy" Radasevich cut the famous Cubs logo into his lawn with a push gas mower. Both men are happy to take the time to show their loyalty to their team. They are also hopeful they'll bring the team more luck than they did when they did their carving in 2003 - the year the Cubs lost to the Florida Marlins in the National League Championship Series. The Cubs host the New York Mets in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series Tuesday.
