Authorities in western Illinois say a 12-year-old boy has died after an accident with a piece of construction equipment on his family's property.
Grant L. Garriga of Liberty was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon. The Adams County coroner says the boy fell off of a skid loader and died when the equipment ran over him.
The skid loader was being used to move brush when the accident happened.
