FBI offering $5,000 reward in Chicago horse carriage arson

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information in the case of an arson fire that destroyed 13 horse-drawn carriages on Chicago's North Side.

The FBI on Tuesday announced the reward in connection with the Feb. 6 fire at the Noble Horse Theatre. Officials say the destroyed carriages were worth about $130,000 and there was significant damage to the building.

Investigators say fires were set in two separate horse carriage storage areas. Authorities say graffiti affiliated with the animal rights movement was found saying "Save the Horses" and "Freedom."

Anyone with information is asked to contact local police or the FBI's Chicago office.
