The body of a man was found Tuesday in a vacant lot behind the Costco warehouse store in East Peoria.
According to a media release from the East Peoria Police Department, officers were called to the location in the 200 block of Center Street shortly after 10 a.m. They spoke to the person who located the individual.
The release said no foul play is suspected, and the incident remains under investigation by the police department and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
No additional information was provided.
