Richwoods Principal Brett Elliott Takes New Job In Stark County

Richwoods High School Principal Brett Elliott is heading north for a new superintendent's job.

Elliott accepted a job as Stark County's district superintendent on Monday. He starts July 1. He spent more than 25 years with Peoria Public Schools, starting as a teacher and coach at Roosevelt Magnet School.

Elliott has an undergraduate degree from Eureka College and a master's in educational leadership from Bradley University. He's on track to get his doctorate next year.

Elliott replaces Dr. Nick Sutton as superintendent.
