Peoria Attorney Chris Doscotch To Become Judge

Doscotch Law
Peoria Attorney Chris Doscotch

Peoria attorney Chris Doscotch will be the next judge on the 10th Judicial Circuit.

Illinois Supreme Court Justice Thomas Kilbride announced Doscotch will fill the vacancy on the bench left when Jodi Hoos stepped down to become Peoria County State’s Attorney.

Doscotch has handled personal injury and worker’s compensation cases in Central Illinois for 25 years.

The nomination process included background checks and a poll of local attorneys by the state bar. Doscotch was one of two attorneys who applied to fill the vacancy. The Tenth Judicial Circuit covers Peoria, Tazewell, Marshall, Stark and Putnam counties.
