OSF and Caterpillar have only a few days left to come to an agreement on continued hospital and home care coverage for Big Yellow’s employees.
The Caterpillar PPO contract with OSF runs out September 30. The two sides say they’re at an impasse in negotiations.
OSF says it is only requesting fair reimbursement for the services it provides.
In a brief statement, Caterpillar says it is hopeful an agreement will be reached by next Monday. The Caterpillar plan is managed by United HealthCare.
OSF and Caterpillar’s separate agreement for physicians would not be affected by an expiration.
