CityLink will celebrate its customers Friday with free rides.
The 11th annual passenger appreciation day honors late general manager Jerome Lilly. All fixed route rides are free for the entire day. CityLink is also giving away first aid kits at the downtown Transit Center on Southwest Adams beginning at 8:00 a.m. until supplies run out.
CityLink normally holds its annual appreciation day on April 20th, Jerome Lilly’s birthday. But, officials decided to hold the event Friday so more passengers can take advantage of the free fares. Lilly died unexpectedly in 2007.
