Greater Peoria home sales were up in 2018. That’s according to Illinois Realtors.
The trade group says the Peoria metropolitan area recorded 53-hundred-76 sales last year, which is a nearly nine-percent jump from 2017 totals. Last year’s median home sales price inched up less than one-percent to $125-thousand.
Tazewell County saw year-over-year sales jump nearly 8-percent last month.
Statewide, family home and condominium sales were down two-point-five percent last year when compared with 2017. The statewide median home price last year was up $7-thousand to $202-thousand.
The Illinois Realtors trade group says it’s currently a sellers market, as the statewide housing inventory has dropped to historic lows.
