Tazewell County is rolling out a property tax prepayment plan. Treasurer Mary Burress says her office will begin accepting the payments December 3.
The prepayment plan is only for 2018 property taxes that are payable in the 2019 calendar year. Prepayments must be for the full year’s property tax calculation.
Partial prepayments will not be accepted, and all current and prior taxes must be paid in full.
Burress says her Pekin office will accept the prepayments until the end of business on Friday, December 28.
