The Peoria Art Guild remains dark for the time being. It’s been on reduced operations since December.
But the board president says the annual Fine Art Fair is still in the works for this year. He says the board of directors elected to trim other Art Guild activities in an effort to make sure the Fine Art Fair continues.

The Peoria Art Guild is just one of the local arts agencies that receive grant money from the Illinois Arts Council.
Those grants are going unfilled in the face of the eight month old state budget impasse.
