Roam: The Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Fair is back at the Riverfront this weekend. View works from 130 different artists, enjoy food from local vendors and have your kids create their own masterpiece at the Kid’s Art Festival. The fest is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10. Make sure you stop by the WCBU booth Saturday to record a drop in for the station and enter our giveaway!
Hike: Unplug Saturday with a guided hike at Wildlife Prairie Park. Park staff will lead the hike, sharing some park history while you walk. The hike will last about an hour and a half. There are some moderate inclines on unpaved trails. The hike starts at 10 a.m. and is free for members. Non-members just have to pay for park admittance.
View: Sunday at Five Points Washington, enjoy an interactive experience that mixes art, music, theater, singing and dancing. The audience is part of the show at Artrageous, making creative decisions and even being invited to join artists onstage. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the show begins at 3 p.m. General admission tickets cost $25 to $30. Balcony seats cost $20.
