Objections to several presidential candidates that stalled Illinois’ primary election have been resolved.

Peoria County Election Commission Executive Director Thomas Bride announced Wed. the department and the State Board of Elections are finalizing the ballot.

Bride says voting is set to take place Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Voting was originally scheduled to begin Feb. 4, but objections to candidate placement on the ballot put the date on hold.
