Bradley University is now among the growing choir of schools nationwide adding controls on the use and storage of hoverboards on campus.
Today’s announcement comes the same week the U-S Consumer Product Safety Commission reported it’s looking into fires linked to the two-wheeled motorized scooters.
Bradley University says students living on campus who already own a hoverboard must report to campus police. They are asking hoverboard owners not to store or use the devices inside university buildings.
Bradley University Police are storing the personal transportation devices until they can be taken home.
The University of Illinois also announced a similar ban on hoverboards earlier this week.
