A central Illinois animal feed plant is facing a lawsuit filed by the families of two workers who died on the job.
The wrongful death lawsuit claims Agridyne LLC in Pekin should have provided safety equipment that could have prevented the deaths.
Frank Rosebur of Peoria and Dean Stone of Pekin died last year from exposure to hydrogen sulfide gas in a railroad tank car. The 37-year-old Rosebur was overcome while cleaning the rail car. The 29-year-old Stone died while trying to rescue him.
The families are seeking at least $50,000 in damages.
