Peoria Police Department Assistant Chief Mike Eddlemon is retiring January 11th after more than two decades with the department. Eddlemon has served as assistant chief for more than a year. He officially joined the department in 1992 and served positions including Criminal Investigations, Vice, and the Street Crimes Unit. Eddlemon says he is leaving the force to accept a position in the private sector.
