Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois’ CEO Patty Fuchs has resigned. The local Goodwill chapter said in a new release that Fuchs is retiring after 22 years leading the organization.
When she took the job in 1993, Goodwill of Central Illinois employed 65 workers, the organization said. It now employs 400.
The board of directors will launch a search with the firm DHR International in January. Fuchs’ retirement is effective June 2016.
