A Eureka College building now has LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Sanders Hall houses science labs and classrooms for the school. The LEED certification is an international standard that says the building is both environmentally and energy efficient. Sanders Hall includes a stormwater system that captures runoff and flooring made of recycled crushed glass. The Hall is the first building in Woodford County to earn LEED certification.
