City of Peoria and County residents should be prepared to hear the outdoor warning sirens a little longer Tuesday. The monthly test will take place at ten in the morning and could last up to three minutes.
This is to test a new system installed by the city and county of Peoria. The Peoria County Emergency Management Agency and Peoria’s Office of Emergency Management are typically responsible for manually sounding the sirens.
