The Center for Prevention of Abuse has a new Executive Director. Martha Herm is retiring from the position after 25-years.
The center’s board of directors announced Thursday it’s chosen Carol Merna to take over the leadership role. Merna is coming from the Metropolitan Airport Authority of Peoria. She also served many years as Chief of staff for the 18th Congressional District.
Merna begins the Executive Director job March 23rd. Herm will stay on to assist through the transition.
