The 27th annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign concluded Monday.
The Peoria Friendship House Christian Food Pantry effort runs October 31st through December first.
Peoria City Link, Kroger and Friendship House team up to collect enough food to fill the retired city link bus.
In addition to collecting more than nine tons of food, Kroger donated another $500 in cash.
Friendship house distributes the food throughout the year. It amounts to more than 70,000 meals to needy families through the Friendship House emergency service program.
