The Caterpillar Foundation is hoping to make a positive impact in the fight against Ebola in West Africa.
The charitable division of Caterpillar is donating $1 million to The ONE Campaign. That’s in addition to the $7.5 million already invested in the organization for its advocacy work in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease in Africa.
A statement from the Foundation says the ONE Campaign has been at the forefront of responding to Ebola by focusing on resource mobilization and advocacy messaging.
The Caterpillar Foundation has invested 30-million dollars in Africa since 2010.
