Caterpillar Raises $11.5 M for United Way

United Way agencies across the United States are receiving $11.5 million in contributions from Caterpillar employees and retirees and the company Foundation.  This amount includes a dollar-for-dollar matching grant from the Caterpillar Foundation.

The United Way has been Caterpillar's only annual solicitation for funds to its employees and retirees for more than 60 years. More than half the money raised is going to the Heart of Illinois United Way in Peoria.

HOI United Way President Michael Stephan says Caterpillar's steadfast commitment partnering with United Way ensures vital programs are available that positively impact the education, income and health of our communities.
