The Children’s Home Association of Illinois is getting a new leader. Matt George is taking over responsibilities at the not-for-profit on October 13th.
George is currently the Executive Director at the Hult Center for Healthy Living. Over the last six years he’s led mergers of the The Mental Health Association of Illinois Valley, and Methodist Encore into the Hult Center. He also served as the CEO of the Youth Farm when it merged into The Children’s Home.
The Children’s Home Board Chair says George is well suited for its CEO position. The Children’s Home is a private organization that provides community-based family programs. It serves more than a thousand children and families each monthly in Peoria and Tazewell Counties.
The search begins immediately for a new Executive Director of the Hult Center.
