Area nurses have another school option when looking to obtain advanced degrees.
Methodist College will begin offering a Master of Science in Nursing program next year. It’s specifically for those wanting to become educators in a classroom or within hospitals and other healthcare agencies.
The program caters to working nurses, and can be completed part-time over six consecutive semesters. Full-time students can obtain the advanced degree in five semesters.
Applications are being accepted now for graduate students looking to start coursework in the spring.
