Caterpillar Visitors Center unveils Power Parade exhibit

The Caterpillar Visitors Center unveiled a new exhibit Tuesday to honor a longstanding tradition for the company. This is the 50th anniversary since Cat launched the first of its five ‘Power Parades’.  Katheryn Spitznagle manages the Caterpillar Visitors Center.  She says the power parades were held for employees and their families:

“It was to show new products to them and also let employees and their families get close to the equipment - maybe they’ve never seen it up close. Now today they can do that at the Caterpillar Visitors Center, but years ago they couldn’t,” Spitznagle says.

The exhibit showcases the history of the power parades. More than two dozen artifacts are on display including photos and video of Power Parade footage.  The exhibit is open through October 2nd.
