A nationally-known Civil Rights leader is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the annual Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. Luncheon in Peoria. Public Employees for Community Concerns announced Congressman John Lewis will give the next MLK address. Lewis is the only living ‘Big Six’ leader of the Civil Rights movement and was a close friend of Martin Luther King Junior. He currently represents the 5th Congressional District in Georgia.  The annual luncheon is January 19th at noon.  Tickets are 40-dollars per person or 400 for a table of ten.  They can be purchased by calling Alma Brown at 309-453-4070
