The District 150 School Board approved a measure to expand the athletic facilities at Peoria High School. The resolution allows the Public Building Commission to acquire the land needed to start the $3 million building project for baseball, soccer and track fields.
The Peoria City Council approved zoning changes for the project Tuesday. The District spent more than $900,000 to buy 30 properties to pave the way for the athletic projects.
