FEMA officials are at the Pekin Walmart Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to answer questions about federal disaster assistance. The federal disaster survivor assistance team will also offer registration services to those impacted by last month’s devastating tornadoes. Residents can also get information on wind mitigation tips when rebuilding damaged structures.
People can also register with FEMA by calling 800-6-2-1-FEMA, going online to disasterassistance.gov, or the smartphone app is M.FEMA.gov.
