OSF HealthCare System will not take over Proctor Hospital’s five First Care Centers and primary physician sites. OSF Spokesman Jim Farrell says talks to transfer services from Proctor Hospital to OSF HealthCare System ended without agreement.
Proctor is reportedly considering an affiliation with UnityPoint Health-Methodist, according to the Journal Star.
A statement from UnityPoint Health-Methodist says it is evaluating future partnership opportunities to determine if they’ll help the hospital achieve the goal of meeting the healthcare needs of the communities it serves. Proctor released a a similarly worded statement.
