Peoria County Animal Protection Services is reminding pet owners to take care of their pets this Fourth of July holiday.PCAPS says the safest place for your pets is inside where they cannot by injured or lost. Fireworks may frighten pets and put them and others in danger.Pet owners are encouraged to call PCAPS at 309-672-2440 or the Peoria Emergency Communications Center at 309-674-3131 if their pets are lost or injured.
