Jim Browne
Jim was born in Madison, WI, and grew up listening to radio. A school field trip to a radio station convinced him to pursue a career in broadcasting. Along with a number of jobs in radio, Jim has lent his voice to other projects including ‘booth announcer’ at Bloomington television station WYZZ when it first went on the air.
Jim has also held a variety of non-radio jobs, including TV repair, short order cook, furniture mover, disco jockey, grounds keeper, and served a stint in the Army. His wife Fran brought up their boys Alex and Andrew while Jim tried to figure out what was going on.
