A man has died following a car crash in rural Peoria County over the weekend.

Authorities confirmed 65-year-old Michael S. Tucker of Glasford, while driving a car moving north on Glasford Rd. at approximately 4 p.m. Saturday, did not stop at a stop sign and was hit by another car moving west on Glasford-Canton Rd.

The intersection is just outside the village of Glasford in Timber Township, about 20 miles southwest of Peoria.

According to the Peoria County Coroner's Office, Tucker's vehicle rolled multiple times. He was ejected from the car and pronounced the man dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified. The second driver sustained minor injuries.
