A traditional Peoria block festival is relocating this year while its historic home street undergoes a major reconstruction.

Organizers of the 44th annual Moss Avenue Sale are moving the event to the quad near Bradley University’s Founders Circle.

The event featuring antiques, food and live music is scheduled for June 7, starting at 8 a.m. More than 100 vendors are signed up to participate.

The sale is expected to return to the original location following the road construction work. Peoria is spending nearly $11 million on rebuilding Moss Avenue between Western and Sheridan.
