Bethanie Albrecht has been named the new Public Health Administrator for the Woodford County Health Department.
A news release announcing Albrecht’s hiring touted a “wealth of experience in various public health sectors.” She brings a background in emergency preparedness and response that includes coordinating and supporting volunteers with the Medical Reserve Corps of Illinois program.
Albrect said she will “apply my skills to further the mission of improving the health and well-being of the community through education, promotion, and preventative services.”
Albrecht replaces Hillary Aggertt, who left Woodford County in December after 15 years to take a position as the Peoria Regional Health Officer for the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Albrecht will start in her new position Monday.
