Man injured in Wednesday night shooting has died

A second person injured in a shooting Wednesday night in South Peoria has died.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said 31-year-old Jamarcus F. Walker of Mississippi was transported to the hospital with critical injuries on Wednesday. He was pronounced dead at 4:09 p.m. Friday.

Harwood said an autopsy will follow organ procurement.

Police responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m.Wednesday to a ShotSpotter alert of six rounds fired at the 600 block of West Johnson. Dennis Harris, 30, of Peoria was pronounced dead at the scene.
