The driver of a Peoria Public Schools District 150 bus involved in an accident last week has been issued a citation for the incident.
The bus was involved in a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Glen Oak and Fayette Wednesday morning. 18 patients were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
A Peoria Police Department spokesperson confirmed the male bus driver was cited by the department for running a red light.
