Shop: So Chic Boutique is hosting a Parking Lot Party tonight in Morton. The annual event features booths from more than 50 local businesses, food and drinks. Vendors include coffee shops, bakeries, boutiques and jewelers. The event is free to enter and goes from 4 to 8 p.m.
Celebrate: Saturday at the Peoria Riverfront, celebrate Hispanic heritage at Fiesta En El Rio. Eat traditional dishes, dance to lively music and enjoy refreshing drinks. There will also be activities for kids. The event goes from 4 to 9 p.m., with free admission from 4 to 5 p.m. Early tickets for entrance after 5 p.m. are available for $7 or tickets will be available at the door for $10. Children 12 and up are free.
Watch: Sunday at the Peoria Civic Center, enjoy a cover band that brings A Kind of Magic to the stage. Killer Queen got their start playing at London University, the same place Queen played their first shows. Covering Queen’s discography, the cover band has sold out some of the same venues as the classic band. The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $30.
