Out and About in Greater Peoria: Live music, beekeeping basics and yoga

Live music at the CAC: Head over to the Contemporary Art Center tonight at 6:30 p.m. for Live at the Five Spot: NikBeats. The band is described as an American response to the British beat. They cover songs from The Beatles, The Who and The Doors. Tickets are $12 for members and $16 for non-members. People who register before 5 p.m. today get a discount.

Find a new hobby: Tomorrow at 2 p.m., Wildlife Prairie Park is hosting Beekeeping Basics. Hear from representatives from the Heart of Illinois Beekeepers Association on everything you need to know to start caring for your own bees. The event is free for members and $5 for non-members.

Relaxation at the Shores Acre Clubhouse: On Sunday, enjoy some calming yoga at the Shores Acre Clubhouse in Chillicothe. From 1 to 2:30 p.m. enjoy the event designed for relaxation and enjoyment. The event is hosted by the Hope and Healing Wellness Center. Tickets are $25 and include a Nat’s beverage.
