Find holiday joy within the arts at the Contemporary Art Center

On this week's episode of Out and About, Dr. Mae Gilliland of ArtsPartners of Central Illinois speaks with William Butler, executive director of the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, about their exciting lineup of holiday events and programs. They chat about the 11th annual A Small Wonder Gift Shop, where community members can find unique, locally crafted gifts for the holiday season and "Yule-Like Peoria," a festive event taking place on Nov. 29.

William also highlights the upcoming "Live at the Five Spot" performances, including a jazzy holiday blues performance on Dec. 13. Finally, the discussion wraps up with details about the highly anticipated New Year’s Eve Salsa Party.

Tune in for a celebration of Peoria’s vibrant arts scene and find inspiration for your holiday plans! More information on all of these events can be found on the CAC's website.
