The Peoria Police Department has arrested man in connection with the February shooting death of a Peoria teenager.

On Nov. 9, police said 21-year-old Donte T. Agnew, Jr. was extradited back to Peoria County, after he was arrested in Crown Point, Indiana.

Agnew is one of two suspects named by police in the February 2023 shooting death of Davion Parker, 18.

Agnew is charged with first-degree murder and is being held in the Peoria County Jail.

State's Attorney Jodi Hoos says a motion to deny pre-trial release was granted Tuesday. Agnew will remain in the Peoria County Jail until a trial.

Police are still searching for the second suspect in the case, Torreon Carey, 25, who is described as about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 180 pounds, with long black and red hair and brown eyes.

If you see Carey, or know anything about his whereabouts, police ask you contact them immediately at 309-673-4521, or submit an anonymous tip to Tip 411.
