2 men injured in West Starr Street shooting

Peoria police are investigating after two men were shot Tuesday on the city's South Side.

A ShotSpotter alert for 12 rounds fired went off just before 1:15 p.m. in the 2300 block of West Starr St.

Police found two men with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital.

There is no suspect information at this time. Anyone who knows more is encouraged to contact the police.
