Washington, East Peoria and Pekin mayors discuss rebuilding Thursday at noon
Peoria Public Radio will broadcast a special live conversation on sustaining and rebuilding central Illinois following the November 17 tornadoes Thursday at noon.
The city of Washington was by far the hardest hit location in state. But Pekin and East Peoria also sustained significant damage. This one hour program features the mayors of all three communities along with the Washington City Administrator. In the first half hour, Washington City Mayor Gary Manier and City Administrator Tim Gleason will be the guests. The second part of the show will feature East Peoria Mayor Dave Mingus and Pekin Mayor Laurie Barra.
Listeners will have the opportunity to ask questions on the phone or through social media.
