Black Band Distillery currently operates from a century-old Warehouse District building at 1000 SW Adams St. An inducement resolution passed by the Peoria City Council allows Black Band to pursue expansion plans at the site of a vacant warehouse on SW Washington Street that might be included in a future tax increment financing (TIF) district the city intends to establish.

Following his death in February 2024, the nonprofit Will Kenny Foundation was established in his memory to benefit educational programs in Central Illinois. The group has provided three scholarships so far, and now it’s hoping to do even more.
