Peoria Women's Club

The owner of a restaurant business hoping to move into the Twin Towers Mall faces another delay following the Peoria City Council’s second deferral of a vote to grant the site a liquor license.

The grant will go towards fixing the club's mechanical issues, which will open the door to starting their commissary kitchen for women-owned businesses.

The restoration of the historic downtown Peoria Women's Club is officially underway.

Peoria Women's Club president Kim Mitchell said they plan to get scaffolding up this fall to work on the roof, windows, and tuckpointing.
