Coming soon to the Tazewell County Courthouse: Medal of Honor monument, new flag pole

A monument and a new flag pole will soon grace the grounds of the Tazewell County Courthouse. The monument honors the county's Medal of Honor recipients: John Ayers, Thomas Murphy and William Reed.

Proposed Pekin data center slips into Tazewell County Board candidate forum discussion

Three of the five Tazewell County Board candidates running in District 1 were asked a question about something that's outside the board's sphere of influence during a forum: the proposed data center in Pekin.
