Morton Community School District #709

The Morton Education Association and Morton School District hope to have a contract agreement in place before the start of the 2024-25 school year in August.

In an effort to break the logjam, the district and union bargaining teams will meet with a federal mediator, with the first meeting scheduled for today. The MEA's current 3-year contract with the district ends Aug. 1.
